Beetware has a foundation recipe which can be formulated intended to its application and function with various grades of aggregate. Higher grades and amounts of sherds affords increased durability and colour domination from the ceramic bodies used over the beet pulp.

The colour of the ceramic bodies is determined geologically, but primarily, stoneware and earthenware is are off white to beige and grey tones, porcelain is white and terracotta is its staple red earthy tones.

In accordance to the application process, Beetware can be blended, patterned and layered in varying colours to achieve various designs and aesthetics.
